Pete qualified as a Chartered Accountant at Deloitte and was a partner in the Tax Division before joining the Nedcor Group in 1991.

On moving to the banking side of the business, Pete later headed up Nedbank’s Corporate Banking Division before being appointed Managing Director of Retail and Wealth Management.
In this role, Pete was responsible for the Nedbank, Old Mutual Bank, Pick n Pay Go Banking, the Wealth Management businesses and the insurance/assurance-related businesses.
Pete joined Halls in 2004 as Executive Chairman but stepped down from this role in 2006 to focus on developing the company’s investments in the financial services and pharmaceutical industries.
He was appointed MD of the HL Hall & Sons Group in 2014, where he continues to serve today.
Itumeleng joined Ince in 2008 as the Internal Communications and Events Coordinator. Over the years, she has exhibited remarkable versatility by taking on diverse roles within the business. These roles encompassed Client Services tailored for the Corporate Finance Community and Corporate Sales strategies aimed at both the public and private sectors.
Since 2019, Itumeleng has served as the leader of the Public Sector Division at Ince. Her primary focus revolves around ensuring regulatory compliance and enhancing stakeholder communications for a specific target market. This market consists of non-listed organisations, Government business entities such as State-Owned Enterprises (SOEs), National and Regional Government Departments, as well as Municipalities and Non-Profit Organisations.
Itumeleng is passionate about advancing the cause of good corporate governance and provides the support her target market requires in its reporting efforts to ensure adherence to regulatory standards. Furthermore, she offers valuable counsel on strategies to maximise stakeholder engagement, facilitating sustainable growth and success for her clients.
Linda joined Ince in 1999 and has seen the company evolve strategically, fully embracing and pioneering an integrated approach to storytelling through strategy, content and design to stakeholders.
“I’ve been fortunate to spend my career immersed in stakeholder communications for listed companies. Throughout this journey, I’ve seen organisations shift from a sole focus on profits to ones that embrace regulation. This pivotal change allows them to align their business models with an integrated thinking approach. In such a landscape, strategy, materiality, governance and long-term success hinge on a transparent and equal consideration of all relevant capitals.”
“My passion lies in demonstrating that businesses can balance their purpose with profits through integrated thinking. This mindset, which is rooted in regulatory frameworks, places sustainability at the forefront of business strategy. It also reshapes how businesses operate and engage with their stakeholders.”
“Now, more than ever, it’s imperative to establish ‘sustainable business’ as the default – making it our ‘business as usual.’ This transition demands transparency and accountability in all communications and reporting. The roles of boards and senior management are paramount in spearheading this shift in mindset. I’m motivated by the belief that our collective efforts can usher businesses into this new era. This vision inspires me to be in a perpetual state of learning, curiosity and growth.”
As Winston Churchill astutely remarked, “To improve is to change; to be perfect is to change often”.
Steven joined the company on 1 March 1995 as an assistant in the financial advertising area, later specialising in the sales division of Corporate Finance. Over the past 23 years he has built up relationships in the Investment Banking Community and took on his current role in the Agency as one of two managing directors.
Steven has worked on numerous major corporate transactions as the Corporate Actions Manager, including MTN Zakhle BEE, Telkom’s IPO, Old Mutual Demutualisation and recently, the Sasol Inzalo transaction.

Annelise Lievens joined Ince initially as a consultant responsible for designing the company’s Spirit of Adventure experience for its Corporate Finance Clients. Having cycled professionally for South Africa, Annelise is passionate about the power of adventure and creating experiences that have an impact. In her role as Head of Marketing, Annelise is developing a brand platform for Ince that better connects Ince to its clients.

In January 2013, after 10 months of working as a financial manager at a listed company, she was approached by Ince to join the finance team as a management accountant. In May 2014 she was appointed lead financial manager and currently heads up the finance department.
