Social investment

We pledge to invest in the community we serve.

Ince’s key corporate social investment (CSI) initiatives revolve mainly around the areas of health and literacy.

In early 2009, Ince responded to Carte Blanche’s call to corporate South Africa through their “Making a Difference” campaign.  Recognising the dire need to improve facilities in state hospitals, Ince contributed R500 000 toward the equipment needs identified through this initiative.

As South Africans, we are all affected by our country’s AIDS pandemic.  Annually, our employees conduct campaigns to raise money towards three charities working in the field of AIDS care in the regions in which we operate.  Ince matches the staff contributions, doubling the funds to be donated. 

Ince has become a regular sponsor of computer literacy training for visually impaired students through, Action for the Blind.

For the past two years, Ince has supported the Computershare Cycle for Life initiative.  Funds raised through Cycle for Life are applied toward assisting those affected by crime.

Ince also encourages staff participation in initiatives like Casual Day and Dress Red.
