Ince scores a hat trick, wins Business Day Investor Relations Advertising Agency of the Year for third time

Ince was named Investor Relations Advertising Agency of the Year for the third time in a row, at a gala event held at The Wanderers Club in Johannesburg on 26 February 2009 at the annual Business Day Investor Relations Awards. Ince scored the most points across all categories to come out tops.

The competition received more than 250 entries for the awards and all companies placing investor relations advertisements in Business Day between 1 March 2006 and 28 February 2007 were invited to enter their ads.

In addition to the overall award, Ince was placed first in several category awards. In a new Social Responsibility Advertisements Category, Ince’s work for Kumba Resources earned them first prize. Ince also won for the New Listings Category for Afrimat Limited, and for M3 Cubed in the Best Non Top 100 Company Category. Ince.motiv shared in the achievements where they tied for first place in the General Announcements category for the Oceana Group Limited.

Speaking ahead of the awards, Business Day editor Peter Bruce said: “We are pleased with the growth of entrants in the Investor Relations Awards and believe that all dynamic JSE-listed companies want to be contenders for the top spot.”
