Senior Graphic Designer
QUALIFICATIONS:
Graphic Design National Diploma.
EXPERIENCE:
6 years generalist experience require. Competent in Adobe Photoshop CS4, Adobe Indesign CS4, Adobe Illustrator CS4; Quark 6 or 7, and Microsoft Office suite. Print knowledge essential
PERSONAL QUALITIES:
Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines, creative, artistic and innovative, well-developed conceptual ability, able to multi task and prioritise tasks, excellent attention to detail, responsible and decisive, good communication and interpersonal skills, work independently but have a team focus, positive attitude and commitment. We’re looking for someone who strives for excellence and has enough experience and confidence to run with any job from beginning to end, completing and managing all tasks quickly, even when under pressure.
MAIN TASKS:
Design work according to client specifications, from concept to delivery.
Work closely with Sales, Typesetters & Production.
Ensure jobs are Repro ready for print.
Carry out regular studio backups.
Encourage and direct typesetters and junior designers.
Monitor and order material and stationery.
Adhere to work instructions.
To ensure Internal and External Customer satisfaction
